I'm a self-taught artist and had never had any formal design training, not that I'm against it, but I have met so many wonderful customers and clients who have a wonderful natural ability to make their homes into something better than a "Better Homes and Gardens" showplace...rooms that come alive with their own personality and have a comfort about them that you normally wouldn't achieve with a decorator/designer.
I have a great love of color in the outdoors. Color in nature i.....

HOSPITALS ARE PRETTY DULL. I've been spending a few days at the hospital where my mother is a patient and they are building a new section to the hospital. I will be contacting the architect/builder to find out why they are not using a NO VOC paint in their brand new addition. In fact, I could smell it the other night seeping into the corridors. WHY aren't they using healthy paint in a hospital??? I will personally make it my mission to infor.....

Ever wonder what the color of menopause is??!! Drab gray, lifeless....then all of the sudden BOOM!...it's RUBY RED....then it's ICE BLUE. Yea...that's all I have to say about that. Goodnight

Let's face it...a world without color would simply be dull and lifeless. Could you imagine going through life with various shades of gray all around us?
We all love color. We wear it. We choose font colors on our email. Our automobiles, laptops, cellphones, purses, sticky-notes, boats...EVERYTHING! It grabs us in the checkout, retail stores use it to market new products, it reminds us of holidays, and I could go on and o.....

So, a great question and a topic of conversation with my husband is "How green can a paint be?". Just because it's "Green Seal" rated, and is a NO-VOC paint, if it travels a great distance to get to the retailer, then it can't be very green, then can it? It's a vexing question, and one that I take personally, since I'm trying to do my part to educate people on using healthier paints and coatings.
Not every paint retailer has the luxury of having a paint manufacture.....

Ever watch the people in the big box stores standing there, not really looking at the endless choices in paint colors, but frozen with FEAR??!!!
Let's face it, we've all been there. It's like the cereal aisle...way too many choices.
That's why I love the Devine Color palette. Simple. Perfect. No fail color for your walls!
